On Sunday evening, Wendy's brother and our sister-in-law, David and Laura Fulkerson, took me to eat at Logan's in Lubbock. This is a place that has barrels of peanuts and buckets on each table. You crack the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor.

On Monday, I had the chance to eat there again with my parents and Wendy's folks. I didn't notice until I downloaded this photo on my computer the signs on the wall behind us. For the record, I had the national drink of Texas, sweet tea, and everybody else had water. The food was delicious!

Christmas 2010

L-R: Jared, Rachel, Kendon, Wendy, Micah, and Ian
It was great having Micah, Jared and Rachel home for Christmas. Jared and Rachel left on the 30th and Micah returns next week. The time has gone so fast! We missed having Brett home. He just started a new job and couldn't get off so we are already looking forward to next year when hopefully he can come down.

For Christmas Day lunch, we like to have the kids wear some of the new Christmas clothes they receive. We shot this in the Dining Hall after our traditional lunch of tamales.
