Ruben

Ruben came to NLCH several years ago as a result of gang dangers in his neighborhood. It was a joy to see him commit his life to Christ, make new friends, not have to worry about those dangers, and pursue his education. Though he left the Home over a year ago and returned to live with his mom, he has worked hard and recently graduated from high school.

While at the Home, Ruben learned to weld. The architect who was overseeing the construction on our new property gave him opportunities for jobs. Recently, we hired him to install a couple of gates for the backyard of our new house which is the director house, and to do some other odd jobs.
We are thankful for Ruben, his life, and pray that he will continue to seek the Lord with all his heart and work hard!
